• Channel / turning basin verification using ship simulations
• Navaid and VTS specifications.

IPC members have worked with consultancies on a number of technical assistance projects in India and countries of the former Soviet Union (FSU). This work included all aspects of the resources available and included:

Labour relations
Working practices
Future development
Traffic forecasting

These services were provide at a number of ports including, Taganrog, Azov, Perm, Nizhny Novgorod, and St Petersburg as well as the waterways in Russia.
