IPC have been involved in an IFC due diligence programme to review the financial viability of purchasing additional equipment at the new port at Sokhna, in Egypt. The input involved a site visit followed by extensive assessment of the efficiency of the current operations and the financial assessment of the port operations with new equipment. Funding by IFC was agreed and provided to the Port which has now resulted in new equipment being put in place with a corresponding increasing in performance.
