The major Terminal Master Plan in Karachi included the provision of advice on the tender documents and technical bids submitted by prospective concessionaires, and in South America one of our Technical Advisors provided input to the Government privatisation agency on the concessioning process for a new container terminal at a busy west coast port.

IPC has taken part in the preparation of a PPP Manual and Toolkit for a Central European Government, which included PPP projects in the maritime sector.

Additionally, IPC member has undertaken studies for the Indonesian Government Min. of Transport for the introduction and use of private sector capital for the development of transport/maritime projects. These studies also included how such projects should be regulated to protect the public interest.

An IPC member has undertaken an assignment for the World Bank/PPIAF and other development agencies for the introduction of private sector capital into the development of infrastructure/maritime projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.

An IPC member has acted as Expert Witness for an arbitration dispute for a major European wind farm project. He was also expert witness for the UK Parliamentary Inquiry into the London underground PPP.
