| Terminal Operators |
Members of IPC have been involved in the development of container terminals in the UK from the early days of the 1960’s, and have since been actively occupied in the operation of both container and Ro/Ro terminals in a number of countries. These terminals have ranged from small new start-up operations to large multi berth facilities accommodating a number of different sized vessels vessels simultaneously. This involvement has not been restricted to the day to day operational activities, but has included considerable input and participation in the commercial development and management of these facilities. Assistance has been given to ports in a number of expanding countries to improve throughput and to achieve performance levels of more fully developed container orientated port facilities.
